Tom's cats are slowly learning to accept my presence. I didn't score high points during my lame attempts to play with them in the evening. My bird on a stick routine wasn't well received. I do believe that they were pleasantly surprised that they each got their evening treat. One step at a time!
Pepper was the runt of the litter. Her growth picked up and she's becoming a pretty cool cat. She's cautious, but once you've passed her tests, she can be affectionate. She spent half the day sunning herself in the kitchen windows. In the late afternoon she hung out with me while I worked on the computer.
Once I got up, the three of them followed me everywhere until they had received their breakfast. They made sure that I didn't miss the container of food. One sat on the top while another banged it with her head. I think the day has gone reasonably well. I think that they are accepting that I don't want them walking across the computer keyboard!
