The Cats have been testing me all week. I think I've been doing well. Maybe even better than just a passing grade. I'd say a B+.
Exam hours have been from 5:00 AM to 6:30 AM. Not for the faint of heart.
The object of the test is to feed three cats, all at the same time, without spilling any food on the floor. If food spills, or one of the cats gets their head in the food box, all bets are off.
The first few mornings I could only get two bowls out on the floor at the same time. This morning I did all three. Now if I could only figure out how to get the living room fireplace to the ideal "cat" temperature I may end the term with an "A".
I'll keep you posted.
The creature, called Swamp Thing, was originally conceived as Alec Holland mutating into a vegetable-like creature, a "muck-encrusted mockery of a man". However, under writer Alan Moore, Swamp Thing was reinvented as an elemental entity created upon the death of Alec Holland, with Holland's memory and personality intact. He is described as "a plant that thought it was Alec Holland, a plant that was trying its level best to be Alec Holland."
